I❤️Turquoise

Vintage turquoise has been a main stay of Cowgirl Cash for 14 years. I started Cowgirl Cash with the buying of Vintage Cowgirl boots and gold. Along with boots and gold came the turquoise… turquoise inherited from mothers and grandmothers and collected over the years. Turquoise that the care takers knew should be worn and appreciated.

Almost 50 years ago, my dad purchased “the Museum of Wonders”. Do you recognize it? It’s on Division street and is now a dispensary. The first business my dad was a landlord for was my aunt Betti’s turquoise and plant store! My aunt always had impeccable vision and style. The building was cool and fitting, but Bend wasn’t ready for something like that….

The next tenant was Gary’s Small Engine repair and it lasted 20 years. That was the Bend I grew up in. The turquoise always enchanted me. So did the other semi precious stones, literally lining the paths out behind the building. I’m sure this occasional play ground influenced my path to become a graduate gemologist and a life long lover of gems and jewelry.

Turquoise rings coming soon to Cowgirl Cash…

This amazing squash blossom was sold to a very special friend of mine.

(Her husband surprised her!)She wore it to her “adopted” daughters wedding this weekend, and it was magical on!
