Tis the Season

We are in full summer mode at Cowgirl Cash and Arrange. With so many fun, family friendly rodeos, concerts, and destination weddings happening, it’s no wonder that things are bustling! Central Oregon is discovered, and many visitors breathe the fresh air, meet the nice people who live here, and never want to go home. Most do go home, and many return year after year for more summer memories. Hence the topic of this blog…. Cowgirl Cash is a seasonal business. Some days this is good, and some days it’s hard. After 14 years of operating this little Buy*Sell Western Vintage Boutique I’m finally getting the hang of it. My sales in June, July and August are 3X higher than January and February. That’s why Arrange and Cowgirl Cash close Sunday and Monday in the winter. That’s why both Suzanne and I ski mid week and travel for trade shows (and pleasure) in the winter.

Summer is when we hustle. We also enjoy the benefits of living in Bend and working downtown. The Wednesday market is our favorite day, and any day with music at Hayden Home Amphitheater is exciting! (Maybe the artist will come in)

If you are a local customer, we know we’ll see you when you bring your visitors downtown, and again when town is quiet. To our out of the area customers, it’s fun to see you return year after year to make sure we are still selling vintage boots, and seeing how the store has evolved.
