Abundant Joy in 2014

Happy New Year from the Charltons and Cowgirl Cash.  We started the year by not hosting a First Friday artwalk. I missed my customers and the vibe of the night, but I needed time with my family.... out of town, after a very busy holiday season.

As always, Cowgirl Cash reduces their hours in the winter to catch up on cleaning, organizing, buying, sewing, sleeping, skiing, and writing. I'm adding a new twist this winter.  I'm traveling. I'm taking a trip to Nepal and India. We'll see what affect this adventure has on my Western Vintage Boutique.  I'll be shopping. Fabric, jewelry, beads, scarves, spices, perfume. My eyes will be wide open.  My traveling companions are my two cousins, Brenda and Linda.  We share Branin blood and Branin adventure.  I haven't seen much of these beautiful women in the past 20 years. Brenda lives in Delhi, and Linda reminded me this past summer that we would be crazy not to visit.

The store will be left in capable hands. Liz and Katie with their different styles and good eye are on hand to consign boots, jewelry, buckles and dresses while I'm away. Yes, Dresses are the key to 2014 at Cowgirl Cash. Maybe in colorful fabrics sourced from India?

Winter hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11-6

Check in with my blog as I post my finds and explore outside of my sweet and safe hometown of Bend, Oregon.
